Luke Fetchko is a 2016 OF/2B with a 5-9 160 lb. frame from Greer, SC who attends Riverside. Fetchko has a medium sized frame with a lean build. Defensively he has solid footwork to the baseball and plays through the ball well. Fetchko has quick transfers with arm strength up to 82 MPH from the outfield. He showed good athleticism in the outfield with projectable outfield tools. He also showed solid infield tools in the workout. At the plate, Fetchko starts with a closed stance and a high back elbow. He uses a rock back/knee turn load to start his swing and he maintains balance through his swing. Fetchko has a short swing path to the ball with quick hands and bat speed. He has solid hitting tools and an advanced approach at the plate. Interesting player with good athleticism. Very good student.
