Andrew Freeman is a 2015 RHP/SS with a 6-3 220 lb. frame from Key West, FL who attends Key West HS. Tall, mature, durable frame and has present strength. Ran a 7.47 60 yard dash. Has clean swing mechanics and has a smooth tempo to his delivery. Pitches from a high three-quarter arm slot and has a short, repeatable arm action. Stays balanced and repeats. Pitches at 84-86 mph with his fastball and shows good life through the zone. Curveball flashes solid 11-5 depth at 71 mph and spots it well. Mixes a 76 mph changeup and stays down in the zone. Also swung the bat, works from a very open setup and makes hard contact to the middle of the field. Shows good bat speed. Moves well in the outfield and has solid carry on his throws. Good student.
