Harry Sabo is a 2015 C/P, 1B with a 6-2 200 lb. frame from Wilton, CT who attends Wilton. Large frame with broad shoulders and a mature, strong build. Behind the plate has good footwork and gains ground to second base on throws. Smooth transfer, with tight release. Loose arm action on accurate throws down. Moves feet well around first base bag. Fields the ball out front with good glove. Long arm action on accurate throws across. Also pitches from a high three quarter arm slot with a loose arm action. Slow tempo'd delivery which he repeats well. Gets arm side run on fastball, which topped 76 mph. Maintains the same arm speed/slot on change up, which shows fade at 70 mph. Curveball flashed 11/5 shape and has a feel for all three pitches. Right handed hitter who works from an upright stance with a narrow, open base and toe tap trigger. Shifts weight in lower half, making solid contact with occasional power. Good student.
