Riley Crandall is a 2014 RHP with a 6-4 175 lb. frame from Aptos, CA who attends Aptos. Tall, long slender well proportioned build, body projects well. Pitches from a three quarter arm slot with a long arm action. Deliberate motion, tall and fall mechanics with a long arm circle, gets on top of the baseball well and keeps it down in the strike zone well. High leg kick to delivery can occasionally throw off balance, as he gets stronger he is likely to improve his coordination and timing and increase his momentum towards the plate to generate increased velocity on both pitches. Very good student.
