Joseph Paolini is a 2016 SS/RHP, 2B with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Cherry Hill, NJ who attends Holy Cross. Medium frame, thin build with room to fill. Line drive swing plane, solid bat speed, long swing with a backside collapse, aggressive swings, attacks the baseball, pullside approach, inconsistent balance, can improve contact rate with improved balance. Quick athletic infield actions, moves well laterally, accurate throws, clean transfer. Pitches from a three quarter arm slot with a compact arm action, tight rotation on curveball with 10-4 break, good feel for curve, good arm speed on changeup with good sink. Excellent student.
