Andrew (AJ) Korczynski is a 2015 LHP/1B with a 6-2 170 lb. frame from Perry Hall, MD who attends Archbishop Curley. Tall, large frame, long lanky build. Pitches from a three quarter arm slot with a compact arm action. Deceptive delivery, hides the baseball well, uses front side well, could get more velocity with better extension. Flashed changeup, will need to develop a breaking ball for the next level. Solid bat speed, rotational swing, strong at contact, ball carries well off bat. Short arm action and good footwork around 1B bag. Good student.
