Justin Lewis is a 2014 LHP/OF, 1B with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from La Canada, CA who attends La Canada. Long frame, lean athletic build. Pitches with a long arm action, arm works well and projects for increased arm speed with strength gains. Good extension out front, fastball featured good life at 81-84 and projects for more velocity over time giving him some upside on the mound. Flashed good spin on breaking ball with slider shape when online, also worked in changeup for three pitch mix. Solid defensive outfielder as well, covers some ground with good actions and arm plays well there. Line drive swing plane, more natural from the left side with solid bat speed and good incorporation of lower half. Excellent student.
