Matthew Stanley is a 2013 OF/RHP with a 6-3 175 lb. frame from Lodi, CA who attends Lodi HS. Slender young build, minimal present strength. 7.32 runner, compact outfield arm action, some developing arm strength and carry. Right handed hitter, narrow bent knee base, upper half rotational swing, tends to hit under the ball. Graded out higher as a pitcher for this event. Deliberate delivery, high 3/4's arm slot, hides the ball well. Fastball topped out at 81 mph, good tailing life down in the zone, throws strikes with his fastball, gets 2-plane 11/5 shape on a soft curveball, should mix in off speed more frequently.
