Yanlee Cartagena is a 2012 RHP/OF with a 5-9 135 lb. frame from Guaynabo, PR who attends Josefina Barcelo HS. Medium build, looks to weigh more than listed. Simple leg lift delivery, high and tight arm circle, high 3/4's release, gets downhill with his pitches. Fastball topped at 81 mph, maintained velocity well, fastball mostly straight but pitches to spots with it. Tips curveball with grip and wrap, gets good CB spin and some depth. Mixes well, throws strikes and has an idea how to pitch, got fast outs. Right handed hitter, spread stance with hand drop load, soft mid field contact. Accurate outfield arm.
