Kyle Hansen is a 2014 RHP with a 6-3 165 lb. frame from Ocala, FL who attends Vanguard HS. Tall slender build, lots of room to get stronger. Long loose arm action, arm slot varies between high 3/4's and 3/4's, sound delivery mechanics, arm projects well. Fastball topped out at 84 mph, more velocity in there, big arm side running action at times, fastball will cut when pitching glove side, keeps his fastball down in the zone well. Sweeping curveball with 10/4 shape. Nice change up with nice running action away from left handed hitters. Needs to get more consistency with his release slot but will throw harder with additional strength. Has three pitches to work with and an idea how to pitch. Good student. Signed with Darton College.
