Will Lighthouse is a 2013 1B/C with a 6-2 220 lb. frame from San Jose, CA who attends Prospect HS. Tall frame, strong athletic build with broad rounded shoulders. Good bat speed, long power oriented swing, pull approach, good use of lower half. Ball jumps off bat, late trigger prevents him from squaring up as hard as he is physically capable but it is an adjustment he is physically capable of making. Big target at 1B, ball comes out of hand clean on throws, good footwork, handles throws in the dirt well. Also solid arm behind the plate, catch & throw mechanics are raw at present. Pitched from a high three quarters arm slot, long arm action, good extension. Good student.
