Will Proctor is a 2016 SS/3B with a 6-2 170 lb. frame from Manhattan Beach, CA who attends Mira Costa HS. Tall and athletic build, lots of room to get stronger, projects very well physically. Right handed hitter, busy hand load occasionally impacts timing, tempo based rhythm hitter, has a quick hand driven swing, will loop under the ball at times but shows surprising pop and strength when on top of the ball and timed, can drive the ball to the pull side when all timed up, has noticeably improved his bat speed since last year. 7.01 runner, moves through the ball well, has smooth actions, plenty of arm strength, shows polish and consistency, will stay at shortstop for a long time. Good student, verbal commitment to Georgia.
