Jose Antonio Rodriguez is a 2014 SS/2B with a 6-1 170 lb. frame from Naguabo, PR who attends International Baseball Academy High School. Tall slender build with lots of room to get stronger. 6.72 runner, live bodied athletic actions defensively, smooth and balanced through the ball, quick sure hands, clean exchange and release with good arm strength, high level defensive tools. Right handed hitter, gets to his front side early, aggressive hitter who hits out front, short quick swing, line drive contact, handles the barrel well, has some gap power, projects as a hitter. Solid all around talent. Good student.
