Lucas Larson is a 2015 SS/ with a 6-3 180 lb. frame from Cedar Rapids, IA who attends Thomas Jefferson HS. Tall angular athletic build, some present strength with plenty of room for more. Right handed hitter, rotational swing from a high back elbow approach, has good bat speed and leverage at contact, solid line drive contact, could extend better out front for additional lift, solid overall approach and mechanics. 7.28 runner, has really improved his speed over the last six month, projects to third base as he fills out, nice arm strength with carry, fairly soft hands, can improve exchange. Young athletic who has significantly improved since last seen and has lots of projection to keep improving, late bloomer. Good student.
