Jentry Miller is a 2015 C with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from Waverly, IA who attends Waverly-Shell Rock HS. Medium athletic build, room to get stronger. Right handed hitter, square stance, rotational swing, gets to front side early and will occasionally reach, has some strength in his swing, pull approach but showed game ability to drive the ball to right field as well, handles the barrel well and makes consistent contact. Active receiver behind the plate, shifts well, can simplify footwork on throws, has some arm strength with good accuracy. Also pitched, mid 70's fastball from a compact catcher's type arm action. Good student.
