Brenden Spillane is a 2015 3B/SS/OF with a 6-4 210 lb. frame from Wheeling, IL who attends Wheeling HS. Big, strong well proportioned athletic build. Showed excellent arm strength from both third base and the outfield, very strong game throws from third base, has advanced footwork at third, charges the ball well, accurate throws from multiple arm angles. Right handed hitter, deep hand load with a direct path to the ball, limited shift into contact but strong enough to generate bat speed, best contact to right centerfield and can drive the gaps, ball comes off the barrel hard. Showed second gear running on the bases and is very athletic and agile for his size. Very interesting prospect. Good student.
