Morgan Shuler is a 2014 RHP with a 6-4 175 lb. frame from Havana, FL who attends North Florida Christian HS. Long and slender build, lots of physical projection. High 3/4's arm slot, stays on top of the ball well, slightly cross body at release and will occasionally cut off his release out front, loose and easy arm action. Fastball topped out at 87 mph, lots more velocity there, will work 2-seam/4-seam over a velocity range, has a feel for changing movement and spotting the ball low in the zone. Curveball shows tight spin and good sharp 11/5 biting action. Nice running and fading life on his change up. Has three solid pitches and the ability to use them. Just a matter of gaining strength and adding more velocity. Good student.
