Shane Turk is a 2015 OF/RHP with a 6-1 170 lb. frame from Howell, NJ who attends Christian Brothers Academy. Lean, athletic build, and looks projectable. Ran a 7.17 60 yard dash. Solid footwork in the outfield, makes accurate throws to the plate. Hits from a narrow stance, swing gets long at times. Flashes some opposite field power potential. Also pitched, throws right-handed, and works from a smooth delivery. Stays tall, and has a long arm circle. Finishes consistently online and releases from a high three-quarter delivery. Throws a straight fastball at 74 mph and stays around the strike zone. Also flashes a 12-6 curveball at 67 mph with some good late action. More velocity on the way, and has an idea how to mix pitches. Good student.
