Andrick Cruz is a 2013 C/3B/RHP with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Cayey, PR who attends PRBHS Baseball Academy. Young athletic build with some present strength. Quick defensive actions, good exchange, accurate throws with some carry, works hard blocking and receiving. Right handed hitter, open spread stance, long swing, tends to shift weight backwards through contact, line drive swing plane, mid field contact, can improve with adjustments. Also pitched, long arm action, falls off on release, fastball topped at 78 mph, showed some feel and life on his change up. Good student.
