Steven Oakley is a 2015 3B/1B with a 6-1 200 lb. frame from Durham, NC who attends C E Jordan HS. Tall strong physical build, room to get even stronger. Right handed hitter, bent knee stance, raises up to contact with an uphill plane, front side tends to open early, has good bat speed and some pull/lift ability, projectable hitter. 7.28 runner, good arm strength with carry from third base, will need to continue to work on first step quickness and lateral range. Good student, verbal commitment to North Carolina State.
