Preston Baldwin is a 2013 2B/UT with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Ripley, WV who attends Ripley. Medium frame with room to fill out. Hands field cleanly on the infield, actions show some potential, tools project to 2B. Turn and throw mechanics on pops behind the plate, more arm strength to come. Right handed hitter with crouched stance and wide base at the plate. Rotational swing with minimal weight transfer, Opens front side, showed hard line drive during game play, level swing plane. Good student.
