Tate Upton is a 2014 2B/OF with a 6-1 150 lb. frame from Jay, FL who attends Jay HS. Long and lean build, projects well, lots of room to get stronger. 7.21, body and actions project best in the outfield, graded out in CF, good footwork, good jumps and angles in centerfield, shows range, quick release on throws, arm does not work as well in the infield. Right handed hitter, aggressive swing but will take pitches and is a patient hitter, backside hitter, will lean and create uppercut length in swing, hits to all fields, will improve to addition strength. Very good student.
