Kevin Moreno is a 2014 LHP with a 5-8 219 lb. frame from Miami, FL who attends Coral Gables HS. Moreno has a shorter frame with a thick build. He pitches from a 3/4 arm slot with a medium length arm action. Moreno has a balanced delivery and uses a finishes to the plate well. He throws a curveball at 57 MPH with 11/5 break to it with developing shape and spin. He also throws a change up at 60 MPH with good sink to it. His change up is a good pitch that will get ground balls. At the plate, Moreno starts with a slightly closed stance with a good load. He has a loose swing with some extension.
