Mark Ecker is a 2013 RHP/OF with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Helotes, TX who attends Sandra Day O'Connor HS. Medium athletic build, fairly narrow frame. Simple leg raise delivery, stays on line, deep arm circle, quick loose arm, slow overall pace, high 3/4's to over the top slot. Fastball topped out at 92 mph, mostly straight, tends to lose velocity from stretch. Slow sweeping curveball, lowers release point for curveball and slows arm, shows occasional depth, rare change up. Strong arm to develop. Very good student, verbal commitment to Texas A&M.
