Andrew Taft is a 2014 C/1B with a 6-4 240 lb. frame from Clinton, NY who attends Clinton Senior. Extra large, tall frame with big present strength. Physically mature catcher. Ran a 7.46 60 yard dash. Strong arm from behind the plate, quick transfer and posted impressive pop times. Good receiver, well rounded defensive catcher and has surprising agility for his size. Right-handed batter, works from a balanced, upright setup. Has juice in his bat, big power potential. Drove the ball to the middle of the field in game action, and has opposite field carry. High upside on both sides of the ball. Good student.
