Jake Tank is a 2014 SS/2B, RHP with a 6-2 185 lb. frame from Minneapolis, MN who attends De la Salle. Tank has a medium sized frame with a strong build. He has solid actions defensively with solid footwork. He has solid transfers with developing arm strength. At the plate, Tank starts with a crouched stance and a wide base. He has some bat speed and some lift in his swing. Tank has some strength in his swing and had good game swings. He pitches from a high 3/4 arm slot with good downhill action on his fastball. Tank attacks hitters and has a quick paced delivery. He has some run and sink on his fastball and some feel for his slider. Very good student.
