Tyler Sokolich is a 2015 OF/ with a 6-2 175 lb. frame from Old Tappan, NJ who attends N Valley Reg H Old Tappan HS. Tall lean frame. Athletic with room to continue to get stronger. A right handed hitter, he has a wide set up and toe tap trigger. Feet could be a bit more quiet. Showed very good bat speed and made consistent hard contact. Hit a line drive in game 92 mph off the bat, also hit a long deep fly ball to CF. Power will continue to develop as he matures. Showed solid athletic OF actions. Charges ball well and makes accurate throws with carry. Ran a 6.88 60 yd dash. Interesting follow. Very good student.
