Ian Trenchard is a 2017 2B/MIF with a 5-4 125 lb. frame from Avon, CT who attends Salisbury. Young, thin frame with good present athleticism. Has a lot of room to grow. Ran a 7.58 60 yard dash. Lacks present arm strength but has clean throwing mechanics and moves very well laterally on the infield. Bats right-handed, works from a wide base and carries his hands high. Has a line drive swing path and hits the ball hard to the middle of the field. Scrappy player that is only going to improve.
