2014 Spring Top Prospect Showcase
Ryan Lillard is a 2014 SS/3B with a 6-2 190 lb. frame from Urbandale, IA who attends Urbandale HS. Very athletic build, has added strength since last seen. Left handed hitter, big gather and wrapped load to start, moves into the ball hard and looks to pull, power approach that has evolved over the last year, very hard contact when complicated timer comes together. Showed big-time arm strength from both the infield and outfield in drills, smooth confident actions in the infield, has a presence on the field. Signed with Kansas State. Note: Since the Spring Top Showcase Lilliard has suffered a UCL injury to his elbow and will be undergoing TJ surgery.
