Nate Anderson is a 2012 OF/SS with a 6-1 170 lb. frame from Renton, WA who attends Newport. Anderson has a ultra lean and athletic build with room for continued size and strength gains. Moves well in the outfield, smooth and athletic actions, good footwork. Quick transfer and release and gets body into his throws, which are accurate to bases. Straight away stance at the plate, rotational hitter, loads back. Slight uppercut to swing and will produce more consistent contact when he levels out. Shows line drive contact and the ability to drive the ball into either gap. Good athlete with upside.
