Vincent Augustine is a 2011 C/RHP/1B with a 6-1 185 lb. frame from Los Gatos, CA who attends Los Gatos. Strong athletic build, good present strength. Line-drive hitting approach, goes to all fields well, balanced, good extension, hitting project more with minor adjustments in approach. Raw arm strength behind the plate, good release, receives well, nice feel for the game. 3/4 arm slot on the mound, long loose arm action, good tailing action on fastball, around the plate with all pitches, flashes a feel for both a slider and curveball. Highest upside is on the mound.
