Michael Wood is a 2013 3B/MIF with a 5-9 160 lb. frame from Seneca Falls, NY who attends Mynderse Academy. Lean build with lots of room to fill out and add strength. Projection in body, hands work on middle infield, showed good actions at 3B during games. Arm is accurate with more velocity to come. Right handed hitter with tall upright stance. Aggressive approach with deep hand load and weight transfer to front side. Showed good contact skills during batting practice and pitch recognition in games, able to keep weight back on off-speed. Good student.
