Michael Niego is a 2012 LHP/1B with a 6-3 215 lb. frame from Hillsdale, NJ who attends Pascack Valley. Niego has a good build with strength. High 3/4 release, arm works well, falls to 3B, otherwise clean delivery, occasional run on fastball, ball is pretty heavy, 1/7 curve, hard and tight spin, good depth, flashed solid change in warm ups, commands zone well. He is a good student.
