Joseph Holmes is a 2013 SS/RHP with a 5-6 150 lb. frame from Stone Mountain, GA who attends Stephenson HS. Compact build with athleticism and lots of room to fill. Good fielding actions with a smooth transfer at SS. Hands work well, projects very well at middle IF spots. Open, upright stance at the plate. Line drive, middle of the field approach with a consistent swing plane and good contact skills. Can handle bat and showed the ability to bunt for a hit. Pitches from 3/4 slot with a quick online delivery with good balance. Short arm action in back, repeats his delivery well and throws consistent strikes. Curveball showed 11/5 break and was thrown for strikes. Good student.
