Robert Manfull is a 2006 first baseman from United Local HS in Kensington, OH, with a 6"0", 200 lb. frame. He has a strong body with good actions. Defensively he has soft hands fielding with good footwork and stays on the ball well. He also moves well around the first base bag with fluid motions and can pick balls in the dirt. At the plate he is a left handed hitter with solid bat speed and a line drive swing plane. There is present strength in his swing and he projects to add power as he uses the wood more. Manfull stays balanced throughout his swing with good leverage at contact. He also runs well for his size, and shows the instincts of the game to help in the field and running the bases. Manful has a good set of tools with upside to his game.
