Robert Youngdahl is a 2011 LHP/OF with a 6-2 185 lb. frame from Stillwater, MN who attends Hill-Murray HS. Lean athletic build, projects to add strength. Leg raise delivery, very long arm action, loose and fast coming through, extended 3/4's release point, good angle to the plate. Steady upper 80's fastball, touched 90, FB straight at the present. Very good arm speed on his change up, has confidence in change up, quality pitch. Rare curveball, soft spin, has a slider release point and could easily develop this pitch. Showed nice hitting tools, aggressive swing with bat speed, loose quick hands, solid contact, smooth athletic actions. 90 mph lefty who should keep getting better.
