Watson is a 6-2, 230 lb 2006 first baseman from Illinois with a solid, extra strong body. Watson has a big frame. Showed some solid athletic ablility defensively at 3B with good range. His arm strength is playable. With a few adjustments, his throwing velocity will improve greatly. Watson starts with an open stance in his swing. Watson has a short swing and can hit for some power. He can hit the ball hard to all fields with some strength. Watson has some presence in the batters box. Watson is already a good hitter, with a few adjustments he could be a very good college hitter. Need to follow to see how he develops.
