Matt Rigby is a 2012 LHP with a 6-3 148 lb. frame from Sandy, UT who attends Brighton HS. Tall very slender build. Simple leg raise delivery, drop and drive to the plate, compact arm action, low 3/4's release point, cross body at release, stays balanced and under control. Low 70's fastball, good fading action, sweeping curveball with good depth, occasional change up. Throws strikes, good feel for mixing it up and keeping hitters off balance, fields his position very well. Needs strength but has the basics down. Good student.
