M. Coley Riddick is a 2005 OF from Chesapeake, VA. Riddick is a good natural athlete with Major League plus speed on the bases and in the outfield. He’s a good defensive outfielder with a loose arm that’s going to improve and good on-line carry on his throws. Riddick hits from a wide base and leans back during his swing, which hurts as far as generating momentum and bat speed through the ball. Riddick shows some bat head skills and makes pretty consistent solid line drive contact. He definitely has some tools that will create interest with college coaches and possibly pro scouts.
