Reggie McClain is a 2011 RHP with a 6-2 185 lb. frame from Johns Creek , GA who attends Northview HS. Nice athletic build, live bodied actions. Big leg raise delivery, smooth and balanced, good direction, repeats well, high 3/4's release point, arm is fast and easy. Upper 80's fastball, touch 90 mph, maintained velocity well, keeps fastball down and throws to spots, primary fastball pitcher. 81 mph slider shows late bite and good shape, rare change up. Throws under control, has an idea, projects well physically. Should keep improving. Good student.
