Roberts is a fundamentaly sound infielder who showed a second baseman's profile and good hitting habits. His arm showed well enough to play anywhere in the infield, but it's easiest to project him at second base. His body worked well on the double play ball and he seems to understand the position. At the plate he has a lot going for him. As he gets stronger he might have a big time bat with some pop to all fields. Presently he showed a good short inside out swing with a nice back foot pivot, firm front side allowing him to rotate in balance and get a lot out of his swing. He is a player that appears to have more growing ahead too and is still getting better. Could be a sleeper.
