Lincoln Clapper is a 2008 OF/P with a 6'0'', 165 lb. frame from Turlock, California, who attends Pittman High School. Clapper has a nice body that is a lean and projectable frame. Defensively he gets to the ball quickly with fluid actions. Clapper has a quick release with arm speed that helps produce solid arm strength at 83 mph. At the plate he is a left handed hitter who hits from an open and crouched stance. Clapper stays inside the ball well showing the ability to hit to the opposite field. He is an aggressive runner on the bases. On the mound he throws from a 3/4 arm slot with a medium arm circle. Clapper has arm speed, and he gets arm side run with sink on his fastball that topped out at 81 mph. He also mixes in a 70 mph curveball, and he gets sinking action on his 76 mph change-up. He has a well paced delivery with looseness in his arm. He allowed only 1 hit in 3 innings of work.
