WP - David Meals is a 2005 RHP/C from Air Academy HS in Colorado Springs. At 6', 170, David has a lean frame and build. He shows quality pop times with a strong arm. David has some raw power that he generates by sitting back and using his lower half with good bat speed. He is a solid pitcher who knows what he is doing on the mound. He has good tempo and balance to his delivery from a 3/4 arm slot. He shows good mound presence and the ability to get hitters out with his 85 mph fastball. He should be a durable pitcher who will have many quality starts. Off the field, David also gets the job done and is a great student.
