2006 Atlantic Coast Underclass Showcase
Derric Zeroski is a 2008 SS/2B/3B/RHP from West Allegheny HS in Clinton, PA with a 6'0", 155 lb. frame. Derric has a lean athletic build and showed off good speed with a 7.17 60-yard dash. At the plate Derric hits from a spread-no stride approach and shows good hand and bat speed. Derric has good raw hitting tools, but is somewhat jerky in his approach and will need to make some adjustments to reach his maximum potential at the plate. In the infield Derric showed very good tools. He has great balance and agility and showed off a very quick release during the games. Derric has very good athletic ability and should be a mid to high-level Division I recruit in the next year.
