Gianoni has a strong athletic build, high 3/4 arm slot, long arm action, fastball has good down plane, flashes a 12/6 curveball with good tight spin, commands both sides of plate, good feel for change u, hits from a square stance, makes solid contact, opposite field contact, quiet approach, he is also a good student.
