Tyler Lacertosa is a 2007 MIF/3B/OF from Sarasota HS in Sarasota, FL, with a 5'8", 165 lb. frame. Tyler has a athletic build and produced one of the top 60 times of the entire showcase. At the plate Tyler showed good bat speed with quick hands which produces great extension through the ball. Tyler has a good feel at the plate and produces consistent hard contact. In the field Tyler shows a quick release and solid actions. Tyler shows a long loose arm action on the mound with good armside run. He works quick on the mound, and has a solid feel for his off-speed pitches. Tyler has outstanding speed that many high-level colleges will need to take notice of.
