Kyle Cefalo is a 2007 OF/LHP with a 5'11'', 170 lb. frame from Boise ID, who attends Bishop Kelly. Cefalo has a has a medium frame with a lean athletic build with good strength. Defensively he moves around well in the outfield and has a good approach to the ball. Cefalo has good speed (6.96) and it transfers over to the outfield as he has good range defensively. He has good arm strength with good arm speed and solid carry on his throws. At the plate Cefalo has a slightly open stance and uses a short stride to start his swing. He uses his hands well through his swing and has a compact swing. His swing is very quick and has solid bat speed through the zone. Cefalo pitches from a 3/4 arm slot with a nice clean arm action. He really works the corners of the plate and rarely left a ball in the middle of the plate. Cefalo has good command of 2 pitches and has depth on his curveball. Cefalo is also a very good student.
