Jordan Miller is a 2007 RHP/OF with a 6'0'', 165 lb. frame from Havertown PA, who attends Haverford HS. He has a lean build with a good frame to fill out. Miller has an efficient delivery with solid overall mechancis and a long, fairly loose arm action and a high 3/4's release point. His mechanics give him good overall command, especially of his fastball. Miller's fastball was 78-80 mph and topped out at 81 mph with good arm side running life. He threw a 70 mph curveball that had good velocity and a short, slurve type of break and also showed a little feel for a 74 mph change up. He looked like he could get hitters to swing the bats and had an idea how to pitch. Miller ran the 60 in 7.09 and showed very strong fundamentals on defense. He has a strong outfield arm. Offensively, Miller hits out of a wide stance and tends to raise up and through the ball on his swing, which creates vision and balance problems. Miller is a very good student.
