Jhean Sanchez is a 2006 outfielder and second baseman with a 5'11" 162 pound frame from Miami, Florida who attends Killian High School. He has a lean body that is very athletic. Jhean starts his hands close to his body and stays inside the ball very well. He turns on the ball well and has some power as well. He uses a no load approach and has good balance with a simple approach. He looks to work gap to gap and he has more in his swing than he presently uses. He makes solid contact and uses the entire field. Sanchez has good feet in the field. He also showed a fairly strong arm by throwing 78 mph across the infield during the workout. Jhean is a solid young player who continues to improve.
