Chad Archambo is a 2008 MIF/OF with a 5'11'', 160 lb. frame from Victorville, CA who attends Serrano HS. He has a lean, wiry body with some strength. Archambo is a high energy player who plays to his strengths. His biggest strength is his speed and his offensive approach is tailored to using that speed. He is a contact hitter with a chip and run approach. He has a quick bat and lets the ball travel so he can use the opposite field. When he puts the ball on the ground Archambo can put some pressure on the defense and if he can consistently hit ground balls and line drives the other way he will be successful as a college player. Defensively Archambo is a good glove man, with a quick release and good range. His arm is suited for 2nd base and it is the one part of his game that need to improve the most.
